Gate9 is a Norwegian doom metal band formed in the year 2000. The band members are Are Branstad on guitar, Jon Magnæs on drums and Jan Mikael Sørensen on bass and vocals. They released the album 'Moon Ranger Gone Evil' on the american label Underdogma in 2002. Their second album '...in the kingdom of Vulgaria' was recorded in 2004, but never released.
